Dr. Anup Pradhan is Chair of Orthopedic Surgery at Medical City Dallas and specializes in the treatment of knee, shoulder, and hip disorders. He completed his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Duke University and began practice in Dallas in 2012. He has advanced training in ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, hip arthroscopy, as well as knee, hip, and shoulder replacement.
Before joining Southwest Joint Replacement & Sports Medicine, Dr. Pradhan served as a team physician for Duke University Basketball and Football, Hershey Bears Hockey (part of the Washington Capitals), Penn State wrestling, North Carolina Central University football, and numerous high school teams.
Dr. Pradhan has a passion for patient care. "People come to me when they can't do the things they're passionate about," he says, “Whether it’s walking, running, or playing a high intensity sport like basketball or soccer, getting people back to their lives is what makes my work rewarding.”
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Duke’s Piedmont Orthopaedic Society.
